Every year over 12,000 people race 199 miles from the base of Mt. Hood to the beaches at Seaside through a picturesque course showcasing every landscape Oregon has to offer. Beginning in 1982 with just 8 teams, this relay style race now regularly features 1,050 teams of 12 runners (minimum of 6) in an event that spans over the course of two days.
