In 1994 I was in a car accident and had a seatbelt injury that ruptured my intestines, ruptured Aorta and injured my spine at L3-L4. I did not walk for nearly a year. After intense physical therapy I was able to regain my mobility with a KAFO and eventauly gained the strength to use walk with only afo's. I am very active and I am on my feet most of the day. I entered the Orthotic and Prosthetic field in 2014 and I have been able to try nearly every brand and style of AFO. So far, the Allard Bluerocker 2.0 has provided me with the best, most natural gait because of it's dynamic, spring-back design.
