All the months of training and hard work are paying off for three TeamUP co-captains: Jamie Whitmore, Jill Walsh and Billy Lister have all qualified to represent the United States at the 2016 Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

The country’s best para-cyclists descended on Charlotte, NC, this past weekend to compete for a coveted spot on Team USA. Cyclists competed on the same 7.3km circuit course, while racing for different distances based on their category.

After a weekend of hard riding through a tough, hilly course, Jamie, Jill and Billy came up with strong enough performances to qualify for Rio.

We are so excited and proud of our co-captains, who are constantly showing us how they are able to fight adversity and overcome challenges like Foot Drop, cancer, stroke and Multiple Sclerosis.

Join us in wishing them all the luck in the world as they prepare for the Paralympic games!
